Loxton and Christon is an English civil parish within the unitary authority of North Somerset

Loxton and Christon is a very small Parish Council responsible for the upkeep of two lampposts in Loxton, the small parcel of sloping land immediately north of Loxton village which includes two small quarries and is known locally as Parish Acre, a small area of land in Loxton known as ‘Cowslip Green’, the bus shelter in Loxton and the Village Pump in Christon. The Parish Council is consulted by North Somerset Council on planning applications within two villages and seeks to represent the views of the community and to hold the District Council to account where appropriate- usually in connection with Highways and waste collections.
